After nearly a decade of designing and building custom homes in San Diego, Brett Ames and Monty McCullough formed McCullough-Ames Development in 1998 to become the premier estate homebuilder in San Diego. Brett Ames came from a business, land development and commercial background, while Monty spent his years designing custom estate homes in San Diego. When the two came together, it was obvious they had “Lightning in a Bottle.” The renowned architecture, craftsmanship and livability of their homes have created record sales throughout San Diego, along with name recognition and client following. Ames and McCullough built their company much like they build their homes, with unending attention to detail while demanding the highest quality in design, craftsmanship and service. With their in-house land acquisition development, design department, construction division and real estate sales company, they provide estate homes with professional, luxury home delivery.
